Some Easy Knitting

I needed a very simple and straightforward project to keep me going recently, and this is the result. The ribbon is only temporary, it will be replaced by a nice matching pink one when I next get to a shop selling ribbon. The jacket is knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino from a pattern in her Baby Cashmerino Book 2. I'm now working on a little matching hat. As far as I know there aren't any babies due at the moment in the family, which is actually a fairly rare event. At times in the past there have been half a dozen (friends and family) waiting in line for quilts. This will go in a special cupboard, waiting for the next announcement :o).

  1. Very pretty. I was only thinking yesterday that as I'm going to be a MIL I should perhaps start a stash of little stuff. I could always give away anyway and they knit up nice and quick. Lol!

Glad you are crafting and hope all is going somoothly. Take care

  2. That's so cute. I love the colour too.

  3. That's delightful, hope it doesn't live in your cupboard for too long.

  4. Lovely. I'm sure someone in the family will oblige! Baby knitting is very satisfying isn't it? A completed garment before you've got sick to death of the wool!
